Fives Services Gulf and Aluminium Bahrain, a long-standing collaboration
The event included a tour of the Fives’ workshop, giving an overview of its production activities. A highlight of the visit was the inauguration of the CAFD (Crust Alumina Feeding Device) workshop in the presence of all employees, with an official ribbon cutting. The tour was also an opportunity to introduce the Fives Aluminium Technical Institute in Bahrain, an advanced training center that has redefined the concept of technical education by combining mobility, practicality, and customized learning experiences.
On this occasion, Frédéric Gicquel, CEO of Fives Services Gulf, thanked Alba for renewing the Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA) for an additional 5 years for their Line 6 Pot Tending Machines. This renewal demonstrates the customer satisfaction and and trust in Fives Services Gulf’s ability to support Alba production goals. Sébastien Cailleteau, Vice President Services of Fives - Aluminium Division, also expressed his pride in his employees' contributions.
The ceremony served as a powerful testament to the Bahraini workforce who are a driving force behind the company's success. Today, more than 65% of employees are Bahraini, demonstrating Fives’s commitment to strengthening local community and fostering growth in the country. Empowering women in the industry is also at the heart of the Company's ambition, where their dedication, expertise and leadership have clearly helped to shape the organisation.
