Among the numerous service projects carried out last year, one of the most notable was the rehabilitation of a Cail & Fletcher inclined headstock mill at a Caribbean cane sugar plant. Working closely with the customer’s factory team, a Fives FCB mill expert successfully performed this complex maintenance operation consisting of the replacement of two aging headstocks with two newly manufactured ones.
This demanding intervention was completed in record time, ensuring minimal production downtime and enabling the plant to resume operation efficiently. The project highlights Fives’ capacity to respond quickly and effectively to maintenance challenges while guaranteeing the high performance of its proprietary Cail & Fletcher equipment.
