In 2023, Fives reaffirmed its leadership by deploying this field-proven technology at Marseille-Provence Airport, the fifth-largest airport in France.
The project involved the installation of two overlapping GENI-Belt sorters, totaling 1.2 km in length and featuring level changes of up to 4 meters, strategically positioned at the heart of the airport’s BHS (Baggage Handling System). This solution enabled the airport to comply with new safety regulations while boosting departure handling efficiency.
