Crushing & Grinding

Fives develops advanced crushing and grinding solutions for the cement & minerals industries. We design and supply innovative technologies such as the FCB Horomill® and the FCB Rhodax® which offer the best levels of performance in terms of sustainability and product quality, as well as conventional crushers and ball mills. Our grinding technologies also include 3rd generation classifiers, flash drying systems, and process filters that enhance plant performance, for both new plants and modernization projects.

Minerals crushing

Fives develops equipment and integrated plants for dry process mineral grinding applications. Our solutions are designed for high performance and flexibility, and reduced costs. From stand-alone machines to comprehensive systems, our efficient crushing solutions are equipped with proprietary equipment such as the FCB VIF™ crusher and FCB Rhodax® 4D.

Grinding solutions

Fives supplies complete tailor-made solutions integrating innovative proprietary technologies such as FCB Horomill® or FCB Rhodax® that reduce the environmental footprint, or conventional equipment such as ball mills, adapted to very abrasive and moist products. 


The FCB TSV™ Classifier offers flexible design that is perfectly adapted to separating fine product and coarse material in a large range of industrial application. It has also proven its efficiency to improve product quality and reduce mill power consumption.

Flash drying

Our tailor-made flash drying solutions are cost-efficient and suitable for a wide range of applications. FCB Flash dryers are configured to obtain the best energy yields in reliable units, while having limited footprint and maintenance requirements.

Process filtration

Fives designs, manufactures and delivers high-efficiency gas treatment systems to clean gas emissions throughout a cement plant. Our TGT® and Sonair™ filters incorporate the latest technology in filtering to meet your sustainability objectives without affecting production.
