Partnering with TEAM2 for the circular economy
In 2017, Fives joined TEAM2, the French business cluster for the circular economy. The group develops strategies to facilitate industrial mineral recycling for the construction and public works sectors.
In 2020, TEAM2 qualified Fives as a “French equipment supplier for recycling”, as part of an initiative that promotes French technology and introduces eco-friendly and high-quality equipment made in France to the global cement industry. Fives received this distinction in part for the FCB Rhodax® crusher, in its application to process demolition concrete. This equipment significantly reduces CO2 emissions and transforms concrete into a 100% recyclable resource.
Fives and the European Cement Research Academy
In 2018, Fives joined the European Cement Research Academy (ECRA) as a member of the Future Grinding Technologies (FGT) research project, to work on comparing and promoting the latest grinding technologies.
