The Pillard LONOxFLAM® G2 dual burner proves its efficiency in challenging application
It will consist, per boiler, of four Pillard LONOxFLAM® G2 dual burners (56 MW each) firing natural gas, tail gas and difficult waste liquid fuel.
The scope also includes valves trains for the fuels and the burner management systems.
Fives was chosen for this project thanks to its technical solution which perfectly meet the emissions levels required by the manufacturer. Indeed, in different scenarios, NOx guarantees were between 80 and 120 mg/Nm3 @3% O2 dry, using FGR for some of them.
Another important point was the burner ability to fire such a waste liquid fuel, which is not an easy product, with difficult conditions of viscosity, particles and temperature.
All the scope has been guaranteed for the extremely low temperature of -52ºC.
