Join Fives for a Featured Panel at CAMX 2024

Fives’ own Matt Zupan will be joining an expert panel at CAMX 2024 to discuss “The State and Future of Automated Inspection of Automated Composite Layups”.

CAMX – the Composites and Advanced Materials Expo – is the largest, most comprehensive composites and advanced materials event in North America. It will take place from September 9 to 12, in San Diego, CA.

On Wednesday, September 11, 2024 - 10:30 am – 12:00 pm, Fives’ own Matt Zupan will be joining an expert panel at CAMX 2024 to discuss “The State and Future of Automated Inspection of Automated Composite Layups”. 

Matt Zupan serves as the Business Development & Software Manager at Fives Lund, where he specializes in the COAST (Composite Optical Automated Surface Tracking) laminate inspection technology platform. Before this role, Matt worked as a Software Engineer at Micron Manufacturing, a contract manufacturing company in the automotive sector. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan. 

Matt will represent Fives on behalf of the team for the In-Process Inspection Tool COAST. The panel will discuss successes, challenges, and learnings from COAST’s first production trials and the path forward for the COAST product and the automated composite industry.
