Fives selected by TCC group Holdings and CIMPOR Global to recycle 100% of demolition concrete
Fives, world leader in industrial engineering and pioneer in decarbonation, has been selected by TCC Group Holdings for its operations in Taiwan and CIMPOR Global for its operations in Portugal (as CIMPOR Portugal Holdings) and in Turkey (as OYAK Cement). Key actors in their respective countries and committed to the production of low-carbon building materials, they will use the FCB Rhodax® technology to recycle 100% of the demolition concrete.
With its unique technology FCB Rhodax®, Fives will equip three new sites in Taiwan, Turkey and Portugal as of next year.
Aiming to become the lowest carbon cement producers in the coming years, these three forerunners found in Fives a key partner, committed to offer industry solutions with the lowest environmental impact.
This initiative paves the way for more sustainable, environmentally friendly construction.

Fives' innovative technology FCB Rhodax® revolutionizes the concrete recycling
This unique technology stands out for its in-bed selective grinding process, which optimizes the liberation of concrete components. Combined with the FCB TSV™ dynamic classifier, it ensures optimum recovery of gravels, sand and cement paste of unrivalled quality, transforming demolition concrete into a fully recoverable resource.
By re-using gravels and sand in the production of new concrete, this solution helps to preserve natural resources by limiting the need for quarrying. Furthermore, the fine fraction can be reintroduced in the cement production process, significantly reducing cement's carbon footprint.
