Fives reinforces its strategic collaboration with Geopost through a landmark automated hub for Jadlog in Brazil
Fives has been chosen by Jadlog to equip its new hub in São Paulo with an automated sorting system, further strengthening its collaboration with the Geopost Group.
This strategic project marks a significant milestone for Fives, accelerating the expansion of its footprint in Latin America.
Located in São Paulo, the new hub represents a major investment for Jadlog, exceeding R$200 million, and is engineered to significantly increase the company’s processing capacity.
The facility is designed to handle peak volumes of up to 16,500 parcels per hour, supporting the rapid growth of e-commerce and ensuring faster, more reliable deliveries across the country.
Today, it stands as one of the most advanced automated sorting centers in Brazil. The installation features a high-performance GENI-Belt sorter, equipped with six induction lines and nearly 300 destinations, ensuring efficient and accurate parcel distribution at high throughput.
A key strength of the system lies in its ability to handle both parcels and small items on a single sorter. This compact, flexible solution maximizes space utilization without compromising operational efficiency, an essential advantage in today’s demanding logistics environment.
“Fives is already a trusted supplier of automated systems for Geopost's branches across Europe, ensuring the standardization and reliability of DPDgroup's business model. Here at Jadlog, this will enable us to automate the processing of large volumes”, noted Bruno Tortorello, CEO at Jadlog.
A major milestone celebrated during Jadlog’s official inauguration ceremony
The new facility was officially inaugurated on May 7, 2026, in a ceremony bringing together representatives from Jadlog, Geopost and Fives. This event marked the completion of a large-scale project that will play a central role in strengthening Jadlog’s operational capabilities and service quality across Brazil.
“After growing tenfold in volume since the acquisition of Jadlog by the Geopost group in 2016, this is the most significant investment in our history, with the goal of expanding our facilities, operational capacity and bringing in the most advanced technology,” said Bruno Tortorello.
“Our new headquarters allows us to operate with high intralogistics standards, strengthening the operation of our national distribution network, comprised of more than 500 franchises, 17 branches and the network of 4,000 PUDOS (Pick Up Drop Off).”
Located in an area of approximately 20,000 m², the hub has 87 loading docks, approximately 2,000 m² of mezzanine for offices and 5,000 m² of support area.
Designed to align with the sustainability strategy of Jadlog and Geopost, the new hub was built with infrastructure prepared to minimize environmental impacts, optimize resources and reduce emissions.
Strengthening Geopost and Fives collaboration
“Following the success of our project with DPD Portugal, we are proud to extend our collaboration with Geopost, built on the proven reliability and low operating costs of our solutions,” said Paolo Stefano Bielli, Head of LATAM Application Center at Fives Intralogistics SpA.
This new achievement further demonstrates Fives’ ability to deliver scalable, high-performance automation systems designed to meet the evolving requirements of global parcel operators.
“Installing the sorter was a strategic step toward elevating the level of automation, capacity and predictability in our operations. Fives played a pivotal role in this process, demonstrating technical expertise, close collaboration with our teams and a commitment to deadlines and delivery quality.
This partnership was essential to transforming a highly complex project into a robust, integrated solution ready to support Jadlog’s growth in the coming years”, said Fernando Gasparini, COO at Jadlog.
A strategic step forward for Fives in Latin America
“This project stands as Geopost’s first installation in Latin America and a key milestone for Fives, paving the way for our continued development across the region,” added Paolo Stefano Bielli.
By delivering this flagship project, Fives not only strengthens its collaboration with Geopost but also establishes a strong presence in the LATAM market, opening new opportunities for growth in a rapidly expanding logistics landscape.
