Contract for 2 PTM Major Repair and Life Extension
The project consists of a major structure repair and reinforcement of the PTM tool trolleys and a life extension of the machines by an additional 10 years. Besides, the customer has also requested the replacement of the cross rail and the articulation pins.
The project execution is expected to start in July and should last for 6 months. The complete tool trolley assembly with tools and electrical systems will be dismantled, repaired on site and rebuilt again.
Fives Services Gulf will manage and execute the project in collaboration with Fives' teams in France.
The customer was very satisfied with the quality, safety and planning of the first contract executed earlier this year. Thus, this new order proves that Fives in the Gulf has achieved the status of local OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) for major structure repairs, and confirms its position as a full service provider capable of performing critical repair work while providing extended equipment life and warranties.
