Africa Cementrade Summit
Fives will participate in the 13th Africa Cementrade Summit on October 08 & 09 to discuss “advancing low carbon cement & decarbonization solutions in Africa”.
Fives designs and supplies technologies that help cement producers reduce the environmental impact of conventional cement and concrete production through Supplementary Cementitious Materials (SCMs).
As a key player in decarbonization, we will present our technologies enabling cement plants to reduce their CO2 footprint by up to 50%.
On October 08 at 14.00, Loïc Pottier, Area Sales Manager, will present Fives’ industrial solutions for clinker factor reduction with SCMs. He will demonstrate the benefits of FCB Flash Calciner and FCB TSV™ THF Classifier technologies in the low-carbon cement production process:
- our flash clay activation process offers the highest activation of clay compounds with a flexible combustion system using bio-gas or bio-mass.
- Similarly, our TSV™ THF offers unrivalled performance on high fineness cements, allowing the increased integration of low-carbon additives, thus reducing the clinker factor in cement.
Both lead to a substantial reduction in annual CO2 emissions.
