Turkey calling: a new reheating Stein Digit@l Furnace
Habaş, a leading conglomerate in Turkey, operating in the field of industrial gases, steel, LPG and heavy machine manufacturing, decided on the Stein Digit@l Furnace® due to its considerable savings in operational performance. The new generation furnace is also referenced as the best-in-class product in terms of environmental performance.
The new Stein Digit@l Furnace® will reheat slabs with a production capacity of 450 tons per hour. It is equipped with AdvanTek® combustion system that provides optimum combustion control, resulting in energy efficiency and ultra-low NOx emissions.
The furnace will be controlled by a digital system Virtuo®-Edge R offering a flexible approach for unique process management. It has a solid set of features converting steelmakers’ requirements into easy usable rules and offering much more than any other mathematical models. It enables steel producers to meet today’s challenges of quality requirements and get ready for more demanding steel applications in the future.
The Stein Digit@l Furnace® has more than 100 references worldwide, including successful operation over years at major steelmakers plants in Turkey, such as Çolakoğlu, Erdemir and Isdemir.
