The Future of Industry is Digital

Fives will take part in the Future Steel Forum on September 20-21, in Vienna, Austria to promote the implementation of predictive modeling in the steel industry.

The Future Steel Forum was launched to address the growing interest in digital manufacturing within the global steel industry, particularly the technologies that are associated with industry 4.0. More information on the event.

Predictive Modeling

Predictive modeling allows steelmakers to overcome challenges.  The uses of digital capabilities include more possibilities for analyzing large amounts of data, developing complex, real-time models, and advancing AI solutions.

Fives not only developed predictive models that enhance product quality, boost productivity and prevent human error, but also have implemented them, with great success, into existing galvanizing lines.

At the event, Jean-Paul Nauzin, Innovation & Technology Director of Steel & Glass at Fives, will co-host a panel discussion on Digital Manufacturing and Decarbonization on September 20 at 4:00 to 4:45 pm CET.

Alexandre Gauche, Steel Digital Factory Director at Fives, will present Virtuo™ thermal optimization solution in his paper “Advanced Modeling to Enhance Product Quality, Increase Productivity, and Prevent Human Error” on September 21 at 5:15 to 5:45pm CET.

To learn more about Fives’ digital solutions based on predictive modeling, come meet our experts at Fives’ booth #24 at Future Steel Forum in the Hilton Vienna Park.
