Renault Maubeuge entrusted Fives with the maintenance of its filling equipment during its latest plant shutdown.
For more than 40 years, Fives has supported Renault sites in addressing their industrial performance challenges. Last summer, this long-standing collaboration reached a new milestone at the Maubeuge plant, which specializes in the production of light commercial vehicles.
A Long-Standing Partnership
As part of the plant's annual shutdown, Renault chose to entrust Fives with the maintenance of its filling equipment, a task that had previously been carried out in-house. Thanks to its in-depth knowledge of the installations and its recognized expertise, Fives helped optimize equipment performance and ensure the quality of filling operations.
Meet Customer Requirements
Received only a few weeks before the start of the shutdown, this request required a strong mobilization from the teams at Fives Filling & Sealing, the Group's Nantes-based subsidiary. Despite an already demanding summer schedule, Fives reorganized its resources to support its customer within the expected timeframe.
Three Weeks of Preventive Maintenance
Over a three-week period, Fives experts carried out preventive maintenance on the filling equipment. The interventions included the replacement of wear parts, maintenance operations, equipment inspections, as well as performance tests and validation procedures required to ensure a smooth and reliable production restart.
Fives teams were also present alongside Renault during the production restart, providing their expertise to ensure the optimal recommissioning of the equipment.
