Major conversion of two cement lines thanks to international collaboration
The order includes two Pillard NOVAFLAM® burners and seven Pillard PRECAJET™ burners. This multi-fuel type equipment represents a total installed power of nearly 300MW.
Until now, the customer was operating with a single fuel. He chose Fives, which has been a long time partner for its ability to provide high-performance burners capable of operating individually or simultaneously with many different types of fuels (solid, gaseous and liquid). This versatility provides the plant with a great fuel flexibility thanks to the ability to switch to the most economical fuel overtime.
Fives agility and international coverage were determinant in the success of this project: the technical discussions with the customer were handled in Asia, the engineering will be carried out in France and the manufacturing at Fives workshops in Gujarat, India.
