Liné Machines Robotic Systems chosen for the automation of helicopter production
Liné Machines' technologies for precision machining operations appeal to the helicopter industry. Bell Helicopter has ordered a Liné Machines milling machine for blade production to equip one of its plants in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in the USA. This major investment followed the sale of a Liné Machines Automated Cell to Airbus Helicopter. As part of the modernization of its processes to increase production, the helicopter manufacturer has introduced robotic systems in its brand new plant in Dugny (France), which is set to become the most competitive in the world for the production of helicopter blades.
