Fives won outstanding project in the ethylene industry

At the beginning of 2017, Fives teams won an outstanding project in the ethylene industry which includes 10 cold boxes, 2 towers, 1 horizontal tank and other heat exchanger facilities, a total of 22 equipment. The whole project will be entirely produced at Fives manufacturing site in Suzhou and delivered before the end of 2017.

A major industrial player in the chemical industry

Fives customer, SP Chemicals is the largest ion-membrane chlor-alkali producer in the Jiangsu Province, China, and also manufactures related downstream products.

The Chinese teams will handle the whole project

This project is the first one to be led by the Chinese teams in the ethylene industry who will also manufacture 100% of the equipment at their Suzhou site.

By locally handling this project, the teams will be closer to their client and able to quickly meet their needs.

They will also be pursuing their R&D development to continue to adapt their cryogenic equipment to the Chine market requirements.
