Fives Supports Zehnder in Doubling Production Capacity in Turkey
Fives recently delivered a new glycol filling machine to Zehnder Group, a global leader in heating solutions, for the production of electric towel radiators. The equipment was installed at Zehnder’s manufacturing facility in Manisa, Turkey, and successfully commissioned in April.
This new installation builds on a first project completed in 2014 and enables Zehnder to double its production capacity while further enhancing product quality and compliance with European standards.
A Complete Solution to Support Increased Production
As part of the project, Fives Filling & Sealing supplied its latest-generation glycol filling machine, the RapidCharge L3. Integrating vacuum evacuation, leak testing, and filling into a single process, the system delivers highly accurate filling performance and optimized cycle times, helping Zehnder meet its productivity and manufacturing efficiency goals.
In addition, Fives provided electrical testing equipment to ensure that all radiators comply with current European regulations and quality requirements.
Technical Expertise Driving Quality and Ergonomics
For this project, Fives developed a dedicated filling adaptor designed to ensure a perfect seal at the filling point. This custom-engineered solution improves process reliability while also enhancing workstation ergonomics for operators.
