Fives supports Daikin with the supply of two bi-fluid filling machines
To replace aging equipment that is not compatible with new refrigerants, Daikin, a global leader in air conditioning, awarded Fives a contract to supply RapidCharge® bi-fluid filling equipment at its Ostend site in Belgium.
In August 2019, the Filling | Sealing teams will deliver two bi-fluid machines (R410 A and R32). The R32 has an environmental footprint significantly lower than the R410 A. Its GWP (global warming potential) is 3 times lower and provides better energy efficiency.
To meet Daikin’s needs, Filling | Sealing experts have designed an ATEX machine that incorporates a gas detection system, and has a central alarm and permanent ventilation.
In addition, the connection phase between the machine adapter and the filling point is fully automated.
