Fives reinforces its solution portfolio in Intralogistics with Caja Robotics technologies

This marks a significant leap forward for Fives, as Caja Robotics brings to the table a highly advanced, cloud-native control system and a family of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR). These technologies now complement Fives’ already comprehensive offering, which includes shuttles and multi-level shuttles (FLEXY-Shuttle), mini-load systems, conveyors and robotics handling solutions, as well as the ability to integrate AutoStore technologies in selected countries. These solutions create a more flexible and scalable approach to modern warehouse automation.
The integration also extends to Fives’ Software capabilities. Caja Robotics’ GTP-specific Warehouse Control System (WCS) will be integrated alongside Fives’ versatile and powerful SU WCS, which is especially tailored for food logistics. Caja’s software stands out for its smart, flexible architecture powered by artificial intelligence. It supports rapid deployment with minimal infrastructure changes. This optimized approach enables warehouses to achieve service-level agreements (SLAs) with fewer robots and bin locations, ultimately resulting in streamlined operations and a rapid, cost-effective return on investment.
The combined software suite will serve as a foundation for Fives’ future cloud-based software development efforts, further aligning with the Group’s commitment to innovation and operational excellence.
Caja Robotics solutions will now be marketed and deployed through Fives’ global Intralogistics entities located in Europe, North America, and Japan.
This integration reinforces Fives’ leadership in the GTP automation space, and reflects its ongoing mission to deliver smart, agile and future-ready solutions to customers around the world.
