Fives presents the industry of the future to Mexican industrialists
On this occasion, Fives was represented by its President, Frédéric Sanchez, also President of MEDEF International and Honorary Co-Chairman of the Alliance Industrie du Futur (AIF), and Thierry Valot, Fives' Innovation and Digital Director.
Mr. Sanchez emphasized the links between Mexico and France. In particular, this has resulted in the signing of an MoU in 2019, which will enable the two countries to explore opportunities for cooperation, including the subjects of digitizing value chains or developing automation of the production chain - while placing people at the heart of the industrial model. This is the French vision of the industry of the future.
Mr. Valot presented several solutions developed by Fives that respond to this industrial development strategy, promoting both innovation and inclusion, while taking into account the environmental imperative. They are based on both Fives' process expertise and digital technologies. Indeed, the Group now offers a complete ecosystem based on artificial intelligence, digital twins and remote connection solutions, to deliver greater proximity, economic performance and operational efficiency. Its solutions for the steel and sugar industries or high-precision machining thus include simulators to train operators in virtual reality, optimization tools for existing plants, predictive maintenance and remote supervision software.
In Mexico, where it employs around 100 people, Fives is a recognized partner of the automotive, intralogistics, cement and sugar industries.
