New Fives Diagnostic Communication System ensures higher customer uptime and faster service
Fives Machining Systems has introduced a new remote diagnostics capability that allows machine operators to connect with Fives Cincinnati and Fives Giddings & Lewis technical experts via secure CNC screen sharing. In a significant percentage of cases, machine problems may be diagnosed and solved in minutes without the delay of an on-site service call. The system is standard on all new Cincinnati and Giddings & Lewis machine tools and composite systems and available as an upgrade on most installed machines with PC-based HMI.
