Fives expands combustion activity in India with a new office in Kolkata
The Kolkata office will focus on the metal and pellet industries, offering advanced North American and Pillard® combustion technologies. A team of 20 experts will be based there, working under the supervision of Fives Combustion Systems, the Group’s subsidiary located in Vadodara, Gujarat.
Fives Combustion Systems has played a key role in developing Fives’ combustion activities in India, manufacturing systems for various industries and markets under the well-known brands Pillard®, North American, and ITAS.

This expansion follows the recent opening of the Fives Indian Service Centre in Sambalpur, Odisha, in June. Fives has been present in India since 1981, and currently employs around 250 people across 7 sites, including offices, workshops, and service centers.
