Fives develops Sameday Courier’s delivery network in Romania
Sameday Courier is the first and currently the only niche company of express delivery in Romania offering a same-day shipping to local, national and international destinations. Sameday Courier provides a full range of express services, always with the ultimate priority to offer on time deliveries.
Sameday Courier is expanding its activities investing in automation, and for this purpose, selected Fives to provide a sorting solution for its facility located in Bucharest.
Fives studied a system to guarantee efficiency and a high-performance handling: the GENI-BeltTM sorter will be equipped with high-speed induction lines, data-captures, chutes and upstream / downstream conveyors to sort 17,800 parcels per hour.
The facility will be in operation before the Black Friday of this year, guaranteeing a high-level service to all Sameday Couriers’ customers.
