Back in 2019, Fives and Hangzhou Fortune Gas Cryogenic Group Co., Ltd. signed a partnership that has since then resulted in numerous air separation units projects with a capacity ranging from 10,000 Nm3 to 60,000 Nm3 per hour of oxygen. The 2 companies have also worked together on the petrochemical and natural gas markets.

In June 2020, Hangzhou Fortune Gas Cryogenic Group Co., Ltd. awarded Fives two new contracts, for the design, manufacture and delivery of brazed aluminum heat exchangers, thus widening their partnership to LNG.

The cryogenic equipment will be at the core of a natural gas liquefaction plant with a capacity of 500,000 m³ and 1,000,000 m³ per day. Created 30 years ago, Hangzhou Fortune Gas Cryogenic Group Co., owns over 30 LNG plants in China.

As a leader in the cryogenic market with over 60 years of expertise, Fives has carried out 20 LNG projects in the country, and counting, with a capacity from 500,000 Nm³ to 3,000,000 Nm³ per day.
