The company recently awarded Fives new contracts for a complete OTO tube mill and innovative entry lines, which feature innovation, integrated systems, and full automation. The fully automated shears and end welders ensure maximum flexibility in cutting cycles and trajectories, improve machine accessibility and maintenance, and reduce the overall footprint.
Additionally, a new debander easily adapts to various coil types and plant layouts by automatically removing straps from incoming coils. During strap detection, the system verifies the coil's diameter and width, the strap's width, and the spacing between straps, issuing alerts in case of anomalies. This reduces the number of operators required and significantly lowers health and safety risks.
The technology is fully integrated with digital solutions, including AI modules, to optimize process performance and provide operators with real‑time feedback during daily operations.
