Confirmed performance for the Pillard NANOxFLAM® burner in North America
The client's wish was to drastically reduce their NOx emissions in order to demonstrate their ability to reduce the environmental impact.
To ensure the success of the project, the burners were tested at the Fives European Combustion Centre in Piacenza, and resulted in an NOx emission level below 22 mg/Nm3@3%O2 with practically zero CO.
To-date, the three Pillard NANOxFLAM® burners have been commissioned at site to the full satisfaction of the client - they have not only confirmed their burner emissions, but also that the burners:
- are very stable during fast load variation
- are able to rise and fall very quickly in power
- have a valid performance throughout the operating range.
- allow a high turn-down ratio (1 to 13 approximately)
- do not need any specific refractory quarl
