An insight into electric melting
This year, Fives has been invited to deliver the Mellor Memorial Lecture. Andrew Reynolds, Business Development Director at Fives Stein Ltd., a subsidiary of Fives specializing in electric melting and glass conditioning, will provide an overview of the use of electricity in glass production. The lecture is scheduled for June 3, 2025, at 17:30 at the World of Glass Museum.
Sergio Silva, Sales Manager at Fives Stein Ltd., will provide further insight into electric melting in his presentation “Electric Melting - Growing capabilities. Where is the limit?”. He will introduce our all-electric Prium® E-Melt furnace and highlight its role as a green alternative to reduce emissions and operating costs. The presentation will take place on June 4, 2025 at 11:30 at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
