CortX Alchemy 2026.2:
more capability, less complexity
With this new release, CortX Alchemy further simplifies the collection, utilization, and analysis of industrial data. Enhanced connectivity, more intuitive configuration, simplified deployment, and enriched operational analytics have all been designed to help industrials turn data into actionable insights more quickly.
Key enhancements
DiziScop
As the data acquisition engine of CortX Alchemy, DiziScop enables users to configure data collection plans, acquire and contextualize machine data, making it readily available for production, maintenance, and quality teams.
Connectivity
Key Enhancements:
- Support for textual data acquisition from Schneider equipment (Modbus): access and collect STRING variables to leverage machine information that was previously unavailable.
- Expanded access to standard Siemens CNC data: collect a broader range of preconfigured variables from Siemens SL, PL and One controllers, reducing configuration effort and accelerating data collection deployment.
Visual Programming
Visual Programming provides a comprehensive library of ready-to-use functions that enables users to process data directly at the machine level and transform raw data into meaningful operational information without requiring programming expertise.
Key Enhancements:
- Creation of trend indicators (derivative calculation block): monitor data evolution and identify significant variations more effectively.
- Improved navigation and configuration experience: functions are organized by category for faster access and easier project development.
- Reuse of data processing developments across acquisition projects: duplicate existing programs and processing blocks to reduce manual rework and accelerate new deployments.
Data format transformation: convert and adapt data formats before publishing to customer software environments, simplifying integration with third-party systems.
Enhanced object management: expanded capabilities for grouping and organizing data, improving information structure and readability.
Our offering continues to evolve
- DiziScop product range: multiple licence options tailored to industrial data acquisition, diagnostics and publishing requirements, providing greater flexibility across different use cases and projects.
- DiziScop IIoT: acquire, contextualize and publish indsutrial data to Alchemy or third-party systems..
- DiziScop Expert: acquire data and perform diagnostics directly at the machine level.
- DiziScop Premium: comprehensive licence combining the capabilities of DiziScop IIoT and DiziScop Expert for industrial data acquisition, diagnostics and publishing.
- Simplified licence management: access essential licence information, including licence type, quantity, validity period and expiry dates, for easier monitoring and administration.
Alchemy
Alchemy Server
Once collected and enriched, data can be centralized and leveraged through the Alchemy Server to support industrial performance monitoring and decision-making.
Key Enhancements:
- Deployment within a standard Grafana instance: simplified integration into existing Grafana environments, allowing users to benefit from Alchemy capabilities without modifying their existing software ecosystem.
- Migration to Debian 13: modernized technology infrastructure designed to enhance the security, stability and long-term sustainability of deployments.
Influent Parameters Control
Designed to monitor key process parameters through Statistical Process Control charts and envelope-based analysis for complex signals, this use case helps identify process deviations quickly and reliably.
Key Enhancements:
- Advanced filtering and data navigation capabilities: easier access to relevant data during configuration, helping improve the reliability of model learning and reference limit calculations.
- Enhanced use of historical data in SPC calculations: faster deployment of control charts through more flexible management of historical data.
- Advanced reference cycle selection for envelope calculations: more reliable analyses that better reflect the actual behaviour of equipment.
Dry Run Cycle Analysis
Designed to monitor the condition of machine axes and their components, this use case helps detect wear at an early stage before it leads to unplanned downtime or quality deviations by analyzing repeatable cycles performed outside production.
Key Enhancements:
- Individual reference cycle selection: precisely choose the cycles used to build reference envelopes and incorporate operational expertise into the analysis.
- Improved calculation and visualization performance: faster access to analyses and results, even when processing large volumes of historical data.
- Enhanced configuration experience: an optimized user workflow that simplifies setup and accelerates deployment.
Machine Condition Monitoring
Designed to analyse downtime and performance losses, this use case helps improve equipment availability and operational efficiency.
Key Enhancements:
- Downtime declaration and reclassification in production: adjust detected downtime events to better reflect actual shop-floor conditions, providing a more reliable view of production losses.
- Enhanced downtime context: add comments and contextual information during downtime qualification to support more effective analysis of production events.
