Partnership between Fives and Tamkeen for international Educational Program
This joint educational initiative aims at increasing the competitiveness of Bahraini workforce, through international experience within the industrial market. In 2019, the first partnership gave the opportunity to 5 Bahraini students from Bahrain Polytechnics to do internships in various Fives’ companies (more about it). As the previous program, this educational agreement intends to upskill local talents and create high value sustainable jobs for Bahraini students.
In 2023, Fives is offering 6 to 12-month internships to a dozen of students within its worldwide network of companies. This experience will allow them to develop their skills in a professional international environment by offering a unique engineering experience but also to adapt to a foreign culture.
Labour Fund Tamkeen is sponsoring the program, which fits perfectly with their ambition to support Bahraini workforce in developing their international exposure and academic experience.
Fives' ambition through this program is to encourage young people to join the industry, to bring out the talents that will help us grow.
