Fives CortX and Fives Maintenance inaugurate their new premises in Vénissieux, France
On September 9, nearly 100 people, including employees, representatives of Fives Group and La Ruche Industrielle, as well as journalists, gathered in Vénissieux to celebrate Fives CortX and Fives Maintenance moving into their new premises. The day was an opportunity to showcase our digital expertise and highlight the challenges facing tomorrow’s industry.
This new location marks an important milestone for Fives CortX and Fives Maintenance, which are now based on the same site. It also strengthens Fives CortX’s presence within Lyon’s industrial ecosystem, notably through its integration into La Ruche Industrielle, a collective of industrial companies working together to drive transformation and innovation in industry. La Ruche Industrielle is chaired by David Zak, who is also President of Fives CortX.
Frédéric Sanchez, President of the Fives Group, as well as several Managing Directors and representatives of Fives Group subsidiaries, attended the event.
An inauguration focused on the major challenges facing industry
Following speeches by Frédéric Sanchez, President of Fives Group, Sébastien Gauguier, Deputy CEO of Fives Group, Kévin Pierre-Emile, President of Fives Maintenance, and David Zak, President of Fives CortX, the event continued with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the occasion, followed by a debate on the challenges facing French industry.
At La Ruche Industrielle, Frédéric Sanchez exchanged views with Tawfik Bourgou, a political science lecturer and researcher on “Sovereignty, regionalization and industrial performance: what challenges for French industry?” The discussion focused on the ongoing transformation of industry and the challenges companies are facing today.
These challenges directly echo Fives CortX’s mission: supporting industrial companies in their digital transformation and helping them leverage their data to improve their performance.
A showroom to discover CortX Alchemy
The day also provided an opportunity to inaugurate the showroom located at La Ruche Industrielle. Designed as a space for demonstrations and discussions, it offers an immersive experience centered around industrial challenges through real-world use cases.
It enables visitors to better understand the challenges faced by industrial companies and discover how Fives CortX can support them in addressing these challenges.
Cybersecurity at the heart of digital transformation
The day concluded with an immersive and engaging cybersecurity workshop.
This interactive format provided a practical and collaborative way to raise awareness of the financial and operational risks faced by industrial environments, while highlighting the importance of cybersecurity in the development and deployment of digital solutions.
This inauguration represents much more than a move to new premises. It reflects Fives CortX and Fives Maintenance’s commitment to strengthening their synergies in support of industrial companies.
