Giddings & Lewis V Series 800 to 1600

The Giddings & Lewis V Series vertical lathes, with tables from 800 to 1600 mm, are engineered for precision, productivity and flexibility.

Giddings & Lewis is renowned for robust construction and the V Series is designed to deliver industry-leading functionality and reliability, at an affordable price.

These are the only vertical turning centers on the market that include an infinitely-adjustable cross rail. This innovative feature enables the machines to handle a wide range of part types and sizes. Meanwhile, the C-axis provides full contouring functionality, enabling you to drill and mill turn a variety of features anywhere on a workpiece. For further versatility, an optional live spindle adds grinding, milling, drilling and tapping capabilities.

Giddings & Lewis VTC Series 1000 to 4500

The Giddings & Lewis VTC Series, with tables from 1000 mm to 4500 mm, are designed to meet the specific cutting needs of multiple industries, based on feedback from customers.

The designs prioritize flexibility, with multifunctional capabilities on a single machine. There are also multiple tooling and attachment options for increased versatility.

Like the smaller Giddings & Lewis V Series models, these vertical turning centers feature a unique, infinitely-adjustable cross rail. This innovative component enables the machines to handle a wide range of part types and sizes, all the way up to 5 m in diameter, and 60 000 kg in weight. Full X-axis travel left and right of the center optimizes probing routines, while the C-axis provides full contouring functionality. For further versatility, an optional live spindle adds grinding, milling, drilling and tapping capabilities.

The exceptionally stiff design of these machines ensures that large components are efficiently cut to micron-specific requirements, with reliable repeatability.

SL 250 Latch Plate Tooling System

The SL 250 Latch Plate Tooling System is a rigid and cost-effective tooling interface. With four Hydrodock clamping units that produce superior, fail-safe clamping, this is a secure and sturdy tooling connection for heavy-duty cutting. The SL 250 Latch Plate Tooling System interfaces with standard modular tooling systems and delivers coolant through the spindle as standard.
