Fives will participate in the XLVI Convention and EXPOATAM Congress in Mexico
Fives FCB will be exhibiting at the XLVI Convención EXPOATAM 2026 Eneko Belausteguigoitia Arocena, which will be held from September 23 to 25, 2026 in Veracruz, Mexico. This event organized by the Asociación de Técnicos Azucareros de México (ATAM) brings together cane sugar producers, researchers and technology providers in Mexico to explore the latest innovations in the sector.
The Asociación de Técnicos Azucareros de México (ATAM) is an association of scientists, technologists and companies concerned with the technical progress of the cane sugar industry and its co-products. It has a long history of promoting exchanges, cooperation, research and innovation in the sugar cane industry. Through roundtable discussions, ATAM's annual Congress in Mexico opens forums for sugar experts, researchers and suppliers to present their latest advances and innovations to industry representatives, share their experiences, and discuss emerging challenges and opportunities.
A technical presentation focused on pumping solutions
As part of the technical program, Ana Karina Huitrón, Regional Sales Manager at Fives FCB, will give a presentation focused on the technical characteristics of low-speed and high volumetric performance pumping solutions. Her presentation is entitled: “Zero stress: the standard in transfer of massecuites, magmas, with higher crystal quality, greater process stability and easy maintenance" and will take place on September 24 at 1 p.m. in presentations room Ulúa 5.
Her presentation will highlight how the Cail & Fletcher SUMO™ pump, tailored for sugar industry is aimed to eliminate recurrent problems such as cavitation, premature wear, pulsations, leakage and sugar crystal degradation. Likewise, the reduction of wear elements and the ease of on-site maintenance have a direct impact on the reduction of operating costs and the increase in plant availability.
She will explain how these technologies contribute to the stability of the process, ensuring a regular flow and optimum performacne even under severe conditions.
