EcoVadis gives Fives' CSR performance the highest status
Fives has just been awarded Platinum supplier status, among the top 1% of companies rated by EcoVadis. This corporate social and environmental (CSR) rating agency is a reference in its field, with 40,000 companies evaluated. The sustainable development performance of their suppliers is a growing concern for companies, such as manufacturers who wish to establish a partnership with Fives.
With a score of 78/100, Fives is awarded the status of "Platinum" supplier and is ranked in the top 1% of companies evaluated. This rating attests to Fives' commitment to social responsibility and underlines the Group's progress on this issue: in 2012, the Group was awarded a score of 58/100.
This rating is the result of an analysis of Fives' policies, actions and results in the following areas:
- Environment: energy consumption & GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions, water, raw materials, waste, impact or products.
- Social: health & safety of employees, working conditions, social dialogue, career management & training, discrimination, human rights.
- Ethics: corruption, anti-competitive practices and responsible information management.
- Purchasing: environmental and social performance of suppliers.
