Prium® E-Melt
All-electric furnace - Prium® E-Melt – delivers energy-efficient melting with lower emissions and operating costs. It can provide a step change in the decarbonization of container and specialty glass.
- Prium® E-Melt cold-top vertical melter enables the production of exceptional quality glass with low fault concentration and high homogeneity.
- Prium® E-Melt Warm-Top (or Mixed-Melt) furnace is an alternative when the cold-top operation isn’t possible due to high gassing of melting reactions or when greater output flexibility is required.
A WORLD FIRST
Prium® E-Melt has been recently installed at Verallia’s plant in Cognac in France. It is the largest electric furnace for the glass packaging industry in the world. The furnace produces 180 tonnes of high-quality glass per day for the flagship Cognac brands with zero combustive emissions.

FIRST ELECTRIC FURNACE FOR LUXURY BOTTLES IN FRANCE
Fives and Pochet Group, a key partner of the luxury industry specializing in glass packaging for perfume, skincare and make-up, signed a strategic partnership to design the first electric furnace for luxury bottles in France. Prium® E-Melt will be installed in Pochet du Corval's plant in Guimerville, Normandy.
