DHL CHOOSES FIVES AS A PREMIUM PARTNER TO SUPPORT ITS INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVE ITS LAST-MILE DELIVERY PERFORMANCE AND SERVICES

Fives’ turnkey offerin enables DHL to sort parcels with high reliability and performance, thus offering error-free express (next-day) delivery to its customers anywhere in the world. Fives’ technologies not only help process an exponential number of parcels, but also manage parcels containing irregularly sized objects of an irregular size, which are difficult to process automatically. Fives’ solutions can process up to 28,000 parcels per hour, enabling couriers like DHL to address the 30% growth forecast predicted for the parcels market by 2023.

A European collaboration dating back 20 years, Fives is now a true partner able to collaborate on a global scale. The Group is now the only player capable of providing solutions ranging from basic systems to mega hubs. Fives is committed to a virtuous industry by investing in more sustainable, energy-efficient innovations, to improve the working conditions of logistics operators. 

To date, Fives has installed around fifteen major systems, including DHL’s recent European mega hubs, and at least ten other medium-sized systems that make up DHL’s network of service centers .

Alongside this European partnership, Fives has consolidated its relationships with DHL in Asia Pacific (APAC), with facilities in Tokyo, Shanghai and Hong Kong, as well as in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), with facilities in Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Jordan and Morocco. 

Fives is also working alongside DHL in North America and recently in Mexico, with a new sorting center in Querétaro and over 20 upcoming centers.
