VICAT RENEWS ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH FIVES TO SUPPLY A COMPLETE clinker PRODUCTION LINE COMBINING FLEXIBILITY AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY

PERFORMANCE, ENERGY EFFICIENCY, LOCAL SUPPORT

For its project in Senegal, SOCOCIM Industries, a subsidiary of the VICAT Group, wanted to use the BEST TECHNOLOGIES AND INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS, notably in terms of alternative fuels use and energy efficiency.

The new line will integrate the latest Fives filtration and pyroprocess technologies, allowing: better quality finished products, maximum flexibility, optimal equipment efficiency and automated pyroprocess control.

Beyond technical performance, the pyroprocess systems will meet the customer’s high environmental requirements: low heat consumption, low level of dust and NOx emissions and extensive use of alternative fuels. 

UP TO 70% OF THE FUEL MIX WILL COME FROM ALTERNATIVE FUELS (specifically biomass), while maintaining operational stability.
