Fives supports its customers with their ambition to reduce carbon emissions through its combustion solutions meeting the highest environmental standards. Fives supplied and commissioned Pillard NANOxFLAM® burners for an urban heating network operator in Zurich, Switzerland that was keen to considerably reduce its environmental footprint. The boiler manufacturer chose Fives and its technologies, confident in its expertise and its experience in designing ultra-low NOx burners. NOx emissions measured across the entire burner operating range were well below the maximum values required by the end customer. These excellent results confirm Fives’ leadership in the design of combustion solutions with very low emissions.
Pillard NANOxFLAM®
The Pillard NANOxFLAM® is Fives’ latest generation ultra-low NOx burner for the boiler industry. This technology, supporting the performance of industrial sites, is recognized by the European Union as the “best available technique” (BAT) to limit and avoid emissions.
