The IMOCA Fives Group – Lantana Environnement is ready… because at one point Louis and his team have to say “stop”, we stop there… A race boat never being as ready as their skippers and preparers, perfectionists and demanding would like.
Tomorrow, the weather conditions will be mild for the kick-off of this spring transat. But this relative calm hides a train of depressions with which the loners will have to deal from the beginning of next week.
Competitors will therefore start by drawing north “almost to the Fastnet”, to slide under a first depression before negotiating a weather transition and the arrival of a second front accompanied by thunderstorms and a very formed sea…
