Górażdże Cement S.A. has selected Fives for the supply of FCB Rhodax® for a recycling project in Poland
Recently, Fives has been awarded a contract by Górażdże Cement S.A. (Gorazdze) to supply and install one FCB Rhodax® 1000 LP as crucial innovative crushing & grinding unit at one of the company’s major circular economy projects in Poland. This unit will be part of a processing plant handling alternative raw materials.
An advanced crushing technology to recover construction wastes and reduce CO2 emissions
Gorazdze was looking for a supplier of advanced crushing technologies to develop and implement an innovative technology for recovery and utilization of construction wastes, to obtain raw materials for the production of construction materials. The choice of this technology by Gorazdze is the result of a successful cooperation between companies in pre-tests scale which confirmed that FCB Rhodax® is in line with Gorazdze’ technical requirements.
The advantage of the FCB Rhodax® for material recycling lies in its high grinding ratio and high liberation of aggregates particles. The resulting good quality of all coarse and fine fractions can be efficiently used again in new construction products. The use of alternative raw materials significantly reduces CO2 emissions.
