Fives commissions the renovated production lines of Nissan factory in Barcelona, for the manufacture of a new pickup
The contract included the creation of a new picking area for chassis, a new trim line, a frame turning station, a frame chassis assembly line as well as docking stations for body & box. A new door line with doors off / doors on and a trim line with kitting areas have also been delivered.
The commissioning of these installations with the production of the 1st vehicle took place on May 21st 2015, to the great satisfaction of the customer. Nissan is now able to manufacture a brand new pickup model, Nissan NP300, marketed under either NP300 Navara or NP300 Frontier, according to the country.
