Within the Alba line 5 expansion projects, Fives Solios has been awarded severals contracts for:
One green anode plant implemented for the 1st time the Rhodax process for dry material preparation and including a carbon butts processing unit.
Two gaz treatment centers fitted with Yprios which consists in a double suction system on pots during maintenance operations.
One fume treatment center on anode baking furnaces
The casthouse no 3 integration including 6 melting furnaces and 3 holding furnaces, as well as 2 furnaces for casthouse 2 extension implementing Emix® technology, the electromagnetic stirring system.
During the execution of the whole contracts, one of the main priorities for Fives Solios was health & safety which enables to reach more than 4 millions working hours on site without any lost time injuries. Thanks to the implementation of Fives Solios latest technological development, the roof emissions do not exceed 0.5 kgF per ton of produced aluminium.
