RHODAX®, the Natural Dry Mix Solution
This new scheme is based on a selective grinding and an optimized recipe (high G/S ratio), combining the coke and scraps into a single stream with:
A Fives Solios RHODAX® crusher in open circuit: it replaces three conventional crushers in closed circuit. This crusher is characterized by a granulometry outlet that remains almost unvaried even with the granulometric fluctuations of the coke and scraps mixture supply. Moreover, it has a 'selective grinding process' effect on the soft grains (porous or micro-cracked) which preserves the hard grains (recycled waste) in the coarse fraction.
A first dynamic TSV classifier performs the classification of the grains.
A second dynamic TSV classifier performs the selection of the fines on line with the same aeraulic circuit as the precedent, while the sand is sent to the Ball Mill for further fine grinding.
The whole process is entirely automated and controlled remotely, particularly with an automatic starter during the stoppage of the hot line paste production.
