ALSTOM POWER Baden (Switzerland) have awarded Fives Pillard a contract for the design and supply of 60 postcombustion dual fuel induct burners for the 5 combined cycle boilers, each of 265 MW, located at FUJAIRAH 2 Electricity & Water Plant, UAE.
These burners are able to meet the most stringent criteria in terms of flexibility and environmental protection and were designed after several months of development at the Fives Pillard Combustion Research Centre, operating with a combustive (“TEG”) containing less than 10% oxygen.
