Pulverized lignite is a high-quality, low sulphur and low ash fuel. It is delivered in silo trucks or railway tank wagons. Handling in a closed system permits oil-like convenience. Two million tons of pulverized lignite per annum go into the most varied
of firing systems.
Pulverized coal firing systems have low space requirements and high control speed. Depending on the territorial scope of the provisions of statute, only modest measures or none at all are required to ensure adherence to emission limits.
The ash is disposed of by the fuel supplier.
