The NIS Oil Refinery is the largest one in Serbia & Montenegro. Its location is 20 km away from the capital (Belgrade) in the town of Pancevo. The refinery product range comprises fuels, solvents, bitumes and oil products for industry. Due to a lack of
process steam capacities, the NIS Oil Refinery decided to install an additional new 124 t/hr watertube steam boiler.
In 2003, they placed the order for the new boiler to the Slovakian boiler company "Slovenske Energeticke Strojarne a.s" (SES). On the basis of conclusively superior technology, Pillard was selected as burner supplier and received the order from SES
for the dual fuel firing system & BMS in April 2004.
