Further to the success of the FUJAIRAH 1 project which -since 2003- has given full satisfaction to the user, Fives Pillard has been awarded the 1250 MW dual fuel firing Fujairah 2 project. The site is the biggest Independent water and power plant in
the UAE with a capacity of 2000 MWe and 600 000m3 per day of drinking water.
The new FUJAIRAH 2 extension, supplied by ALSTOM, includes 60 Fives Pillard dual fuel GRC INDUCT burners, 5 dual-fuel Alstom turbines, 5 heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) and 3 steam turbines.
