Use of new oil additives at the ENERTHERM Heating Plant (Paris, France)

For 8 months between 2007-2008, the ENERTHERM Company tested the effect of injecting additives into the heavy fuel oil used for firing the Fives-Pillard burners fitted to their boilers.

The initial purpose was to reduce boiler tube fouling thanks to a better soot combustion.
