CONTROL OF QUALITY AND SAFETY
Fives Nordon’s answer to an extremely demanding market was to devote itself at an early stage to the control of quality, safety and the environment.
1970: NORDON et Cie works under a QUALITY ASSURANCE system.
1994: NORDON et Cie obtains NF EN ISO 9001 certification from BUREAU VERITAS QUALITY INTERNATIONAL (BVQI) for its site in NANCY and its Regional Branches. Fields of activity: Studies, supply, prefabrication, on-site installation and maintenance of industrial piping systems and their accessories, such as expansion joints in particular.
1996: NORDON et Cie obtains CEFRI “E” certification to provide services under ionizing radiation in Nuclear Electricity Generator Plants.
2001: NORDON et Cie obtains EN 46001 certification. Field of activity: Feasibility studies for the execution, prefabrication, on-site installation and maintenance of fluids distribution systems for medical use.
2002: NORDON INDUSTRIES obtains approvals in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 97/23/EC), based on the Quality Assurance system: modules D1, H and H1.
2003: NORDON INDUSTRIES obtains renewal of its NF EN ISO 9001:2000 certification
the West Regional Branch obtains MASE certification. This standard pertains to security and allows for activities in the oil sector. It is now required by large prime contractors.
2004 : NORDON INDUSTRIES obtains UIC accreditation for all of its Regional Branches. This accreditation from the Union of Chemical Industries authorises activities on sites classified as “High threshold” under SEVESO.
2006 : NORDON INDUSTRIES obtains renewal of the ISO 13485:2003 certification (which replaces European standard 46001 which became international and was called ISO 13485).
2007 : In 2007, NORDON INDUSTRIES obtains SELO qualification to produce pressure equipment for the Chinese market (period of validity: 4 years).
2009 : Fives Nordon Regional Southwest Department obtains the MASE qualification.

The U ASME Stamp for the prefabrication of pressure equipment since 1986, the PP ASME Stamp for manufacture, welding and assembly of pressure piping systems since 2000 and the S Stamp for prefabrication and assembly of internal boiler piping since 2002.
TÜV Approval for manufacture of piping systems and pressure equipment in accordance with AD MERKBLATT HPO (TRB 200) TRR 100, TRD 201 and DIN EN 729.2.
SVTI/ASIT Approval for manufacture of spirally welded tubes.
These certifications and approvals are all currently valid.
