Fives Nordon, leading the project in temporary partnership with Citba and Ponticelli, has won the TIGF order for the creation of an emergency shutdown and emergency depressurization (ESD EDP) system and for conformance work on isolated wells at gas storage centers for the Izaute and Lussagnet sites.
In particular, Fives Nordon is responsible for all the work on isolated wells and for the Lussagnet site, as well as for the achievement of branch connections and the installation of buried ESDV valves and platforms.
This contract includes work as general contractor, among which 25 % are civil engineering, 25 % electricity/instrumentation and complete manufacturing studies (drawings, 120 isometrics), and piping work (procurement, painting, lifting, etc).
Key figures:
- 30 people involved from April to September 2010 and up to 50 people during the unit shutdown in August,
- 16,000 hours of piping work (excluding subcontracting),
- 50 tons of piping (including safety valves).
